Today I witnessed a movie unlike any other... a movie on my "Movies in 2009 I want to see" list... A magical movie gem where the true story intertwines perfectly with the acting of the lead characters to produce a glossy almost fairy tale land that was the 1970s.
Milk is a wonderful movie that reflects the greatest of human emotions shown in a much different perspective in a much different time. Following the life of Harvey Milk, the gay rights activist (played by Sean Penn) the movie takes you through the 1970s and flips the mirror for the gay community. The characters were portrayed so vividly and the direction was so precise, they persuaded you to believe that the movie was shot in the 1970s. I would gladly see that movie again... The only flaw would be the one scene where they go back to the beginning of the movie to point out a very obvious point of planning out and readiness... Unnecessary...
As I collect myself from the previous classes I have stomached already I walk slowly to the cafeteria of the dreaded HSN _ROCK SOLID_ I sit down and immediately greeted by Honshkee... following my also rather slow "Hi" I take Ariels seat to talk to Carmela. We dont have alot to talk about. But oddly enough I saw a very strange side of him that day.
As I was talking to the table I noticed a girl walk over to Cashlin. She was, in my "book" categorized as a RAVE GIRL... now being "rave" in her eyes is nothing what she was aiming for was individuality, which is cruelly noted in Carmelas eyes...
Let me attempt at the best of my memory to describe this girl lets call her... Rain...
Now, Rain had Jet Black hair in a odd formation. Almost like a band of Black jet planes flying in random directions, then tied with a clip. Now if Rain had only black she would be an EMO... she was not because to be rave you must have bright colours (for T). She had bright blue eye shadow like the color of the Alaskan Waters... and she had a candy necklace like Corinne when she was 4.
Now, Rain didn't say anything to me... But Carmela did...
Carmela is a quiet person who doesn't share ideas or thoughts usually with anyone unless counting his bands... But in reference to Rain, quietly not making a scene, he cursed under his breath... I then asked who he was talking about and he said Rain.
He didn't really say Rain it was just to make the story a little bit more understandable.
He said a very serious comment to me about teenagers and there broken way of looking at things ... He says that a few years ago everyone was about being "original"... which is true, but then because all teenagers perspective on being original is the same when a mass people decide there style is "original", its not.... this is because it has been used before, therefore when a teenager decides to be original it is the most unoriginal thing in the world to do...
Now that it's all over, what did you really do yesterday that's worth mentioning? ~Coleman Cox
